
BLUEBERRY & MANDARIN SANGRIA

Ingredients
- 1 750 ml bottle or red wine (Rioja Red, Shiraz)
- ½ lemon cut into wedges and ½ lemon cut into slices
- ½ mandarin cut into wedges & ½ mandarin cut into slices
- a handful of fresh blueberries
- 30 ml sugar
- 30 ml brandy
- 500 ml ginger ale
Instructions
- 1. Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice from the wedges for the lemon and mandarin into the wine.
- 2. Put in the mandarin and lemon slices (no pips) and add sugar and brandy. Chill overnight.
- 3. Add ginger ale and blueberries just before serving.
- 4. If you’d like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice.
