ROSES ON THE BREEZE

Ingredients

  • 2 tots (50ml) vodka
  • 3 tots (75ml) apple juice
  • 2 tots (50ml) cranberry juice
  • 1 tot (25ml) rosewater
  • Ice
  • Apple slices or rose petals, to decorate

Instructions

  • 1. Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice blocks.
  • 2. Add all the ingredients and shake, until the cocktail shaker is too cold to hold, the drink is ready.
  • 3. Strain into a martini glass and enjoy!
  • 4. Tips:
  • 5. For a non-alcoholic version, leave out the vodka and serve in a tall glass over fresh ice cubes.
  • 6. Rosewater is available from the baking section in most supermarkets or your local spice shop.
  • 7. For an extra special treat, mix 2 Tbs (30ml) white sugar with ½ tsp (7.5ml) rosewater and a drop of pink food colouring. Spread onto a baking tray and allow to dry. Dip the glass rim in a bit of apple juice and then into the pink rosy sugar.
